Daci is a second generation REALTOR® and is excited to be part of Tina Leonard Real Estate, LLC and continue the legacy her mother began.  Daci spent many years accompanying her mother to real estate showings around the Adirondacks. It was through those experiences and discussing real estate with her mother weekly for as long as she can remember, that Daci knew she would eventually become a licensed real estate salesperson when the time was right.  As a full-time Realtor and business owner, Daci is thrilled to have the opportunity to bring her vast background in negotiations, quality reviews and critical thinking to further serve current and future clients of Tina Leonard Real Estate, LLC.  If you have a unique property in the Adirondacks that you are interested in listing, give Daci a call! As a Lake Placid native, Daci graduated from Lake Placid Central School District and pursued her Bachelor’s degree at Plattsburgh State University.  She moved to the Capital District area, where she was a quality analyst for FEMA Funded Crisis Counseling program through the New York State Office of Mental Health that provided counseling and outreach for those directly affected by 9/11/01. This position brought her to live in Schenectady County where she stayed after her tenure was completed.  For almost two decades she had a career in the claims side of the Insurance industry. Most recently, Daci worked for a nationally recognized Insurance Company as a Claims QA Consultant where she completed reviews for accuracy of financial reserving and facilitated new hire training within the Casualty Claims department. Daci also brings experience as an appointed member of the Niskayuna Planning Board from 2017 through 2022. As a Planning Board member, Daci is experienced in reviewing site plan applications, legal codes and listening to all points of view when acting with the board to make a decision based on facts and code. Daci also enjoys participating in training annually to stay current in the newest case laws and planning matters across New York State.  Daci has always found that the Capital District being less than a 2 ½ hour drive to Lake Placid enables her to drive ‘home’ for dinner or a special event with family members at a moment’s notice. Daci and her husband Michael split their time between Niskayuna and their home in Lake Placid along with their two Shiloh Shepherds
